Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Maximus McDougall (ranked 6018 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kwon Woo Lee (ranked 4265 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Maximus McDougall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kwon Woo Lee!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDougall throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Lee holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Lee manages to break the clinch.
McDougall misses with a jab, cross combination.

McDougall falls off balance throwing a combination
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Lee shoots in looking for a takedown. McDougall tries to sprawl out of it but Lee keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McDougall manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Lee rushes McDougall and presses him up against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lee escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
McDougall swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Lee counters by moving into the clinch.

Lee gets control of McDougall's arms and successfully pulls guard. Lee will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McDougall accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
McDougall postures up in Lee's guard and throws a big left but Lee blocks it.

McDougall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lee swivels though and keeps the full guard.

McDougall is in close to Lee's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Lee is looking to stand up but McDougall isn't so interested in that idea.

McDougall is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Lee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McDougall. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McDougall has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
McDougall is looking to work some ground and pound but Lee has wrist control.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Lee holds on and takes a little breather.

McDougall postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Lee covers up, he's hurt! McDougall keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from McDougall and the ref steps in to end the fight! McDougall can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
