Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Dhabu Vihdonic (ranked 7023 p4p, 447 weight class) and Jon Bones (ranked 7346 p4p, 461 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dhabu Vihdonic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Jon Bones!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Luis Engracia and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vihdonic misses with a double jab.
Bones throws a body punch but Vihdonic moves out of range.
Bones throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bones throws a nice looking combination but Vihdonic bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Vihdonic throws a leg kick which misses Bones's front leg but catches the back leg as Bones tries to avoid it.
Vihdonic avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Vihdonic misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Vihdonic scores with a decent looking hook.
Vihdonic looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bones misses with a shot to the body
and Vihdonic counters with a stiff right hand.

Vihdonic closes the distance and pushes Bones back into the ropes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vihdonic has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Vihdonic throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Bones lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Vihdonic blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Vihdonic lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Bones backwards.
Vihdonic breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bones has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Vihdonic takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Bones throws a jab when Vihdonic was well out of range.

Bones misses with an uppercut. Vihdonic saw that one coming.
Vihdonic seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Bones thows a left - swing and a miss!

Some bone on bone action there as Bones checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bones bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Bones fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Vihdonic throws an overhand right that lands on Bones's shoulder, as Bones tries to avoid the shot.
Vihdonic looks to throw the jab but Bones is out of range.
Bones takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Dhabu Vihdonic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vihdonic steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bones.
Bones scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Vihdonic lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bones has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bones and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Vihdonic digs a good body shot into Bones's ribs.
Bones moves forwards but Vihdonic connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Vihdonic looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

A solid leg kick lands there for Vihdonic.

Bones moves out of range as Vihdonic strikes.
Bones wants to counter with a clinch but Vihdonic pushes him away.

Vihdonic connects with a leg kick. Bones looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Vihdonic lands a nice hook to Bones's body. Bones takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Vihdonic moves in looking to clinch but Bones pushes him off.
Bones takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Bones throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Vihdonic uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bones has time to react.

Vihdonic is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bones can do to turn this around?

Vihdonic fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bones.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bones on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Bones throws a shot from downtown. Vihdonic moves away and avoids it.

Bones takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Vihdonic lands with a nice body punch.
Bones swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Vihdonic swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Vihdonic walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Bones checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Bones looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Vihdonic dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bones. That did some damage!

Bones tries to counter with a clinch but Vihdonic shakes him off and moves away.
Vihdonic tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bones swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Vihdonic lands with a hook. Bones tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Bones throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Vihdonic to counter with a crisp jab.
Vihdonic lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Vihdonic throws out a head kick that Bones doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Bones crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Bones's eyes and has decided to let it go on!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dhabu Vihdonic will take that round after scoring the only knockdown of the round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Bones throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Vihdonic sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Crack! A monster head kick from Vihdonic and Bones falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Vihdonic!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Dhabu Vihdonic!
Dhabu Vihdonic decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
