PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Elijah Pitakaka (ranked 9259 p4p, 545 weight class) and Simon Kanitz (ranked 10265 p4p, 560 weight class). Pitakaka comes to the ring accompanied by my dick. On his way into the ring it seems that Elijah Pitakaka has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Elijah Pitakaka seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pitakaka throws a leg kick that is checked
and Kanitz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Pitakaka swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kanitz buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Kanitz has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Kanitz throws the kick towards the body but Pitakaka avoids it.

and Kanitz connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and Kanitz counters with an outside leg kick.

Kanitz ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd cheers as Kanitz lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pitakaka doesn't seem phased though.

Pitakaka misses with an attempted mid kick.
Pitakaka has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Pitakaka throws a jab but it's blocked by Kanitz.
Kanitz throws out a counter right but Pitakaka avoids it with no problem.
Pitakaka throws a right and a left that Kanitz avoids nicely.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Pitakaka crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kanitz - the referee stops the clock and Pitakaka gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kanitz. Pitakaka manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Kanitz fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pitakaka looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Pitakaka is breathing heavily.

Pitakaka takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Kanitz lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Kanitz lands with a shot to the body.
Kanitz connects with a body shot that sends Pitakaka's belly button to the back.
Pitakaka takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Kanitz fakes the leg kick and cracks Pitakaka in the body.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Kanitz - that will leave a mark!
Kanitz lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Pitakaka takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Pitakaka is rocked!
Kanitz closes the distance and catches Pitakaka with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Pitakaka is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Pitakaka is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Pitakaka is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Kanitz takes it!
