Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pyotr Povetkin (ranked 4504 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fightah Numbah One (ranked 4694 p4p, 0 weight class). Fightah Numbah One will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Numbah One scores with a body shot.

Povetkin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Numbah One sprawls well initially but Povetkin persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Povetkin is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Numbah One has managed to free his arm - good work.

We've been hearing good reports from Povetkin's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Numbah One wants to sweep but no luck.

Povetkin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Numbah One has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Povetkin is working away from the top position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Povetkin wants to take a breather but Numbah One is having none of it.

Povetkin is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Numbah One has his hands clasped together but Povetkin extends and breaks Numbah One's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Povetkin.
