Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Didi Hamman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ranulf Drengot!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Roberts and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamman stuffs the takedown.
Hamman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Drengot walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Hamman throws a right hand that Drengot ducks under and follows up with a left that Drengot also avoids with ease.
Hamman lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Hamman scores with a decent looking hook.
Drengot misses with a takedown attempt
and Hamman counters with a nice uppercut.

Hamman has taken the fight to the clinch.
Our sources have told us that Hamman has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.
Drengot tries for a takedown. No joy.
Didi Hamman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ranulf Drengot.
Drengot has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Hamman after a bit of a struggle.

Hamman keeps control of Drengot as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Hamman lands a good knee to the midsection. Drengot won't want to take too many of those.
Drengot looks winded!

Hamman drops Drengot with a big knee straight up the middle! Drengot is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!


Drengot is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hamman changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Drengot is still on wobbly legs! Can Hamman finish him?

Hamman closes the distance and clinches.
Hamman unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Hamman working the clinch nicely. Drengot is working for position but Hamman cracks him with a big knee to the head! Drengot crumples up against the cage and Hamman lands two more shots before the ref can save Drengot! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee & Punches). Didi Hamman!
Didi Hamman decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
The defeated Ranulf Drengot had this to say: 'I'm so disappointed, but I will be back stronger!'.
