Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Konstantinos Nevrakis!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nevrakis gets a clinch.
Nevrakis jumps guard but Corleone stands there with Nevrakis around his waist. Nevrakis gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Nevrakis is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Corleone to keep the fight standing.
Nevrakis avoiding damage as Corleone throws knees to the body.
Nevrakis tries to pull guard but Corleone won't allow it.
Danny Corleone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Konstantinos Nevrakis.
Corleone has Nevrakis pushed against the cage.
Corleone wants to stall.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Corleone pressing his opponent against the cage.
Nevrakis jumps guard but Corleone stands there with Nevrakis around his waist. Nevrakis gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nevrakis pulls guard effortlessly.
Corleone pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nevrakis is keeping the position for now.
Corleone has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Corleone got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nevrakis has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Corleone has managed to get both his arms back between Nevrakis's legs - danger averted.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Nevrakis is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Corleone defends well.
Corleone trying to control the position from guard on top but Nevrakis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Nevrakis is looking for a triangle but Corleone pushes his legs off easily.

Nevrakis has his foot on Corleone's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Corleone works his way back into a safe position though.
Corleone stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nevrakis swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Corleone lying in Nevrakis's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Nevrakis decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Corleone taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Konstantinos Nevrakis!
After winning the bout, Konstantinos Nevrakis thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
