Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Dick Doss (ranked 19104 p4p, 184 weight class) and Draughn Diego (ranked 2108 p4p, 24 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Doss looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Diego is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Diego throws a shot from downtown. Doss moves away and avoids it.
Diego has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Doss staggers Diego with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Diego looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! Just in time and the ref is going to let the fight continue!

It looks like Draughn Diego has been cut.

Doss closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Diego crashing to the mat! Diego uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!

Doss misses with an uppercut. Diego saw that one coming.
Doss gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Diego uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Doss.

Doss ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

and Doss counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Diego misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Doss on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Diego throws a half hearted mid kick.
Doss fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A bone on bone clash there as Doss blocks the leg kick.

Doss lands a front kick to the face, that drops Diego to the canvas! Is he dazed or just shocked? He's back to his feet and the referee is going to allow him to continue the fight!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Diego jabs Doss to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Doss lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Doss connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Diego onto his butt! Diego bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.
Diego is still on wobbly legs! Can Doss finish him?

Doss scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Diego beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.
Diego uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Doss.
Diego seems to have recovered his senses.
Diego avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Diego misses with a kick to the body

and Doss counters with a nice uppercut that drops Diego onto his backside! Diego bounces straight back to his feet before we have a chance to even start the count. He'll get the standing 8 count anyway before we get back underway.
Diego walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Diego is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!
