Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zed Baby! (ranked 1668 p4p, 219 weight class) and Junior Dos Santos (ranked 4416 p4p, 437 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Baby! might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rage Against The Machine: Know Your Enemy. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

19 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Junior Dos Santos!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Eddie Farnsworth and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Santos rushes Baby! and presses him up against the cage.
Baby! pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Dos Santos.
Dos Santos shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Baby! as he jumps to the side.
Dos Santos closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Baby! quickly recovers to half guard.
Baby! pushes Dos Santos off looking to stand but Dos Santos dives back in and keeps control.
Dos Santos is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Baby! defends it well.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Baby! is pressing down on Dos Santos's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Dos Santos wants to pass the guard but Baby! is keeping the position.
Baby! is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Baby! lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Dos Santos gets full guard.
Dos Santos throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Baby! escapes and throws Dos Santos's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Dos Santos is looking for a sweep.
Baby! decides to stand back up.
Baby! gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Baby! manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dos Santos tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Baby! defends well and Dos Santos ends up having to push Baby! into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Zed Baby! has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Junior Dos Santos.
Baby! takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
It looks like Junior Dos Santos has been cut.
Dos Santos tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Baby! defends well and Dos Santos ends up having to push Baby! into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Dos Santos is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Baby! connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dos Santos. Dos Santos circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Baby! displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dos Santos.
Baby! connects with a right hand. Dos Santos shakes it off.
Dos Santos on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Dos Santos is rocked!
Dos Santos shoots in but no luck this time.
and Baby! counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Dos Santos! He's just covering up as Baby! starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zed Baby!!
During a confident post fight interview, Zed Baby! thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
