Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alphaios Alevizos (ranked 4194 p4p, 399 weight class) and Bruce Chang (ranked 2581 p4p, 274 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alevizos misses with a takedown
and Chang cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Alevizos shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Chang connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Alevizos shoots in but Chang avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A countering left hand to the body from Chang misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alphaios Alevizos. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Chang has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Alevizos is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Alevizos doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Chang counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Chang fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Alevizos looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Oh Alevizos is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

It looks like Alphaios Alevizos has been cut.
Chang lands the left hand.
Chang connects with an inside leg kick.
Chang cracks Alevizos with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Alevizos tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Chang pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Alevizos is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
