The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Charles counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Greek breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Greek shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Charles's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Greek had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Charles defends it easily.
Charles throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Greek works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Greek manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Charles keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Greek turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Greek wants to lay and pray for a moment but Charles keeps working.

Charles is not content to let Greek control the position.

Charles takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Charles is looking to reverse the position.
Greek working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Greek decides to stand back up.

Greek feints and as Charles raises his hands in defense, Greek changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Charles wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Greek manages to pass to side control.

Greek takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Charles wants to control but Greek is keeping busy.
Charles is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Nick Greek showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Charles gets caught napping as Greek dives in and scores a takedown. Charles manages to retain guard.
Greek chips away with some ground and pound.
Greek is pushing down on Charles's leg trying to pass to half guard. Charles is fighting to maintain full guard but Greek has managed to sneak the leg through.

Greek shoots in and bounces Charles off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Charles has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Greek is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Greek has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Charles clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Charles looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Charles defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Greek's arms.

Well Greek has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
