Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sterling Sharp (ranked 23144 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dee Bo (ranked 4668 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sterling Sharp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dee Bo!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bo misses with a few strikes there.
Sharp attempts a counter takedown but Bo avoids it well and moves away.
Sharp avoids the head kick by Bo.
Sharp shoots in looking for a takedown. Bo tries to sprawl out of it but Sharp keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sharp blocks a head kick by Bo.
Sharp really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Sharp doesn't manage to clinch there - Bo circles away.
As Sharp backs off Bo throws a huge counter combo but Sharp manages to avoid it all.
Bo scores with a three punch combo!


It looks like Sterling Sharp has been cut.
Bo throws a sloppy head kick

and Sharp counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Sharp.

Bo gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sharp makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Sharp.

Sharp looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bo is one step ahead there.
Sharp doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sharp has momentary wrist control but Bo slips an elbow through the middle.
Bo would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Bo stands up from Sharp's guard - Bo perhaps looking for a knockout.
Bo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Bo darts in and clinches Sharp up against the cage.

Bo manages to break the clinch.
Dee Bo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice sprawl there from Sharp as Bo shoots in.

Sharp tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bo was well out of range. Poor timing from Sharp.
Sharp tries to close the distance and clinch but Bo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Bo is looking for the big counter here.

Bo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bo throws a nice looking combination but Sharp bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bo swats away the attempt to clinch by Sharp.

Sharp is looking to take this one to the mat.
Sharp tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bo smiles and moves away.

Sharp moves out of range of the body kick.
Sharp tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Sharp loads up on a big right hand but Bo slips the punch.
Sharp throws a right hand that Bo ducks under and follows up with a left that Bo also avoids with ease.
Despite the aggression on Bo's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Sharp tests Bo's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Bo ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Bo throws a head kick that misses.
A combination from Bo does no damage.
Bo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sloppy strikes from Bo. Those never looked like landing.

Sharp tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Sharp wants to clinch.
Bo throws a nice looking combination but Sharp bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bo.
Bo looks winded!
Sharp moves away from the strike by Bo.

Bo takes the fight into the clinch.
Sharp has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bo avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
A short uppercut from Bo.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dee Bo dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Sterling Sharp's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Bo throws a one two combo.

Sharp gets caught flat footed, as Bo shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Bo controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Sharp trying to control the position.
Bo engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Bo stands up from guard. Let's bang!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sharp swings for the body but Bo moves out of range.
Bo is looking for the big counter here.

Bo drives through and clinches with Sharp against the cage.

Bo manages to break the clinch.

Bo forces Sharp back against the cage and clinches.

Bo pulls guard.
Bo pulls Sharp in to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sharp working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bo's head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bo utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Sharp trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Bo is trying to control the position but Sharp postures up.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Sharp is in close to Bo's body, working some short punches and elbows.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sharp accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Sharp will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Bo pulls Sharp in close to prevent any damage.
Sharp scoring with punches to the head and body.

Bo is trying to keep Sharp in close.
Bo managing to control the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Sharp tries to clinch there but Bo circles away.
Sloppy strikes from Bo. Those never looked like landing.
Sharp seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Bo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sharp sprawls well. Sharp wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bo gets slowly back to his feet.
Bo is breathing heavily.
Bo misses with a straight right.
Sharp tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bo swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sharp fails with a takedown attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sharp takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Bo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sharp, pushing him back against the cage.
Bo prevents the takedown attempt.
Bo lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Bo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bo works over Sharp's head and body with a nice combination.
Bo leaves Sharp with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sterling Sharp. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bo misses with a two punch combination.
Sharp tries to counter by clinching up but Bo breaks away and moves out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bo shoots in but no luck this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dee Bo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Sterling Sharp's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Bo circles away from the clinch attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sharp looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bo changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Bo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Bo moves into the clinch successfully.
Sharp drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bo is pressed up against the cage. Sharp has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bo down to the mat. Bo avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Sharp takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Bo instigates a clinch.

Bo manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Sharp throwing strikes but missing.
Bo is striking off his back. Sharp thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.
Bo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sharp is working away from the top position though.

Sharp is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bo sees it coming and defends easily.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Sharp looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Bo keeping hold of Sharp's head, controlling as best he can.
Bo flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Bo trying to control here.
Bo tries to get to full guard but Sharp has control of the leg.

Sharp sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Bo defending well though.
Bo is concentrating on defense, preventing Sharp from advancing position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Bo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sharp, pushing him back against the cage.

Bo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bo connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Sharp tries to close the distance and clinch but Bo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sharp circles away quickly and effectively.
Sharp tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Bo manages to circle out of the way.
Bo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bo takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sharp looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Bo scores with the left hand. Sharp knows he should have avoided that one.

Bo moves into the clinch.
Sharp is trying to drag Bo to the mat but Bo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sterling Sharp. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dee Bo is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Dee Bo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Sterling Sharp has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Bo breaks from the clinch.
Sharp slips a jab and a cross from Bo.

And that's the end of the fight!
Dee Bo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Bo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
