Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ahmed Odom (ranked 7370 p4p, 0 weight class) and Little Timmy (ranked 4600 p4p, 0 weight class). Little Timmy will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ahmed Odom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Little Timmy!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Igor Prikhodko and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Timmy pushes Odom up against the cage in a clinch.
Odom takes an elbow to the temple.


It looks like Ahmed Odom has been cut.

Timmy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Timmy looks for the body kick but Odom saw that one coming.
Odom appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
A head kick misses from Timmy.

Timmy gets tackled into the cage by Odom. Odom maintains the clinch.
Odom has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Timmy is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Odom tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Odom is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Timmy pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ahmed Odom. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Odom is trying to push Timmy away but Timmy has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Timmy fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Odom, pushing him back against the cage.

Timmy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Timmy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
No luck for Odom with that takedown attempt.
Odom misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Timmy jumps guard and drags Odom to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

The fight stays on the outside here - Odom looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Timmy has closed the distance and engaged Odom in a clinch.

Timmy ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Timmy no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Odom cracks Timmy with a solid left hand.

Odom could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Timmy can do anything to dispel that myth.
Odom postures up.
Timmy looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Odom might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Timmy seems keen to control Odom's posture.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Odom decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Timmy, up you get!
Timmy has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Timmy moves into the clinch successfully.

Timmy tightens his grip and picks Odom up, before dumping him to the ground. Odom manages to land in guard.

Timmy has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Odom is proving hard to escape from.

Odom is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.


Odom is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Timmy sees it coming and defends easily.

Odom postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Timmy to stand up.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Timmy is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Timmy turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Timmy stands up and beckons Odom to his feet.
Timmy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Odom stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Little Timmy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Timmy darts in and clinches Odom up against the cage.
Odom looking for a takedown.
Odom is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Timmy to keep the fight standing.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Timmy successfully pulls guard.
Odom trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Timmy wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Timmy drives through and clinches with Odom against the cage.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Odom is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Timmy is defending well.
Odom wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Odom creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Odom throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Odom looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Odom is trying to break free.
Little Timmy seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Timmy unloads a knee to the mid-section.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Timmy has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Odom uses from the top position.

Timmy swats away the attempt to clinch by Odom.
Timmy misses with a wild body shot.
Timmy avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Timmy lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Timmy.
Whack! Timmy lands a heavy head kick that drops Odom. The ref tackles Timmy to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Odom was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Little Timmy!
A less than humble Little Timmy misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
