Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Cormier (ranked 23247 p4p, 469 weight class) and Paul Bunyon (ranked 6198 p4p, 421 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Cormier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Paul Bunyon!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksandr Martynov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cormier staying out of range there.

Cormier manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Bunyon on his heels. He'll look to pass Bunyon's guard now, I'm sure.

Cormier is trying to work for a kimura but Bunyon is defending well.
Cormier lands with a punch from half guard.

Bunyon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cormier. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Cormier works his foot free and advances to mount.

Cormier pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Bunyon trying desperately to get to his feet.
The referee warns Bunyon that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Cormier has hold of Bunyon's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bunyon manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Bunyon moves away from the strike by Cormier.
Cormier pulls out of a head kick attempt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Cormier.
Cormier throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A little jabbing left from Bunyon on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Bunyon catches Cormier napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Cormier to the canvas!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Cormier looking for a guillotine here but Bunyon defends easily.
Cormier might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Bunyon wants to stand but Cormier has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bunyon can do anything to dispel that myth.

Cormier has his feet on Bunyon's thighs here. He's pushed Bunyon off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Bunyon screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
