Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Aleksander Kazimierz (ranked 2820 p4p, 166 weight class) and Aleksey Viktorov (ranked 1549 p4p, 103 weight class). Chooooooooon! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Viktorov has taken the fight to the clinch.
Viktorov tries to pull guard but Kazimierz holds him up against the cage and eventually Viktorov drops back down to his feet.
Kazimierz tries to throw a body punch but Viktorov avoids it by throwing Kazimierz back against the cage.

Kazimierz pulls guard successfully.
Viktorov trying to control the position from guard on top but Kazimierz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Viktorov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kazimierz swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kazimierz wants to get back to his feet but Viktorov is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Viktorov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kazimierz is keeping the position for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kazimierz is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Viktorov is controlling him.
Kazimierz seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Kazimierz throws a front kick aimed at Viktorov's knee but Viktorov avoids it well.
Viktorov tries to counter by closing the distance.

Viktorov moves into range and clinches up with Kazimierz.

Viktorov successfully pulls guard.

Kazimierz avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Our spies down at at Ferocious beast inform us that Viktorov has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Viktorov is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Kazimierz wants to stand but Viktorov has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Kazimierz got a little sloppy there for a moment and Viktorov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kazimierz has managed to get both his arms back between Viktorov's legs - danger averted.

Kazimierz wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Viktorov's closed guard. He's half up but Viktorov has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Viktorov pivots and extends the arm, Kazimierz falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Viktorov! Well done that man!
