PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Reece Daniels (ranked 2013 p4p, 129 weight class) and Kyoksu Tuhura (ranked 3005 p4p, 172 weight class). Daniels's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Eminem - Kings never die. Kyoksu Tuhura has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Reece Daniels!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kyoksu Tuhura!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tuhura moves out of range of the strikes.
Daniels takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Tuhura takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Daniels scores with a jab. Tuhura acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Tuhura throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Daniels misses with a series of wild punches.
Daniels uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tuhura.
Daniels definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A punch lands to the side of Tuhura 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Daniels looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Tuhura tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Daniels counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Reece Daniels is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Daniels throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A little jabbing left from Tuhura on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Tuhura waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Daniels.
Daniels misses with an attempted mid kick.
Tuhura throws a body kick that misses.
Daniels scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Daniels stuffs the takedown attempt from Tuhura. Tuhura gets slowly back to his feet.
Tuhura looks to throw the jab but Daniels is out of range.
Tuhura fails to land with a series of punches.
Daniels scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Daniels drops Tuhura with a beautiful combination! Tuhura stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Daniels is looking for the KO!

Tuhura is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tuhura doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Tuhura is still on wobbly legs! Can Daniels finish him?
Daniels pounces like a tiger and cracks Tuhura with a vicious hook! Tuhura is down but not out! Daniels follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Reece Daniels!
Reece Daniels spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
