The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bond avoids a punch combination nicely.

Bond pushes Williams up against the cage in a clinch.

Bond has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Williams uses from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bond striking off his back but it's not causing Williams any problems.

Bond will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Williams is looking to stand up but Bond won't let him.

Williams stands up from Bond's guard - Williams perhaps looking for a knockout.
Williams throws a leg kick but Bond sees it coming and moves out of range.
Williams misses with a kick to the body.
Bond throws a sloppy head kick and Williams moves out of range easily.
Williams is looking to clinch but Bond is avoiding it.

Williams closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Williams lands in his opponent's guard.

Bond has his foot on Williams's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Williams works his way back into a safe position though.

Bond wants to get back to his feet but Williams is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
