Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Harper (ranked 644 p4p, 71 weight class) and Capt Sully (ranked 1805 p4p, 169 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Miguel Harper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Capt Sully!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Phil Schofield and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harper keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Sully gets a clinch.
Harper goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Harper scores with a shoulder strike.
Harper displaying some good clinch control by pressing Sully up against the cage.
Harper content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Harper swings wildly with an uppercut but Sully uses good head movement to avoid it.
Harper fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sully digs a right hand underneath Harper's ribcage. Harper let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Sully breaks the clinch.
Harper throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Sully looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A swing and a miss from Harper.
Harper throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sully shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Harper misses with a double jab
and Sully counters with a two punch combo.
Sully tries to close the distance and clinch up but Harper swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Harper drops down looking for a counter takedown but Sully sprawls and moves away.
Harper misses with an uppercut.
Harper avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Harper drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Harper's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Sully keeping moving, preventing Harper from controlling successfully.
Harper throws a big elbow that misses.
Harper stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sully swivels though and keeps the full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Harper accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Sully bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Harper's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sully pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Harper is keeping the position for now.

Sully is looking to work some ground and pound but Harper has wrist control.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Harper is on top in guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Sully looking for a guillotine here but Harper defends easily.
Harper tries to free his leg and advance position but Sully is retaining full guard.
Harper stands up over Sully, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Harper postures up in Sully's guard and throws a big left but Sully blocks it.
Sully keeping moving, preventing Harper from controlling successfully.
Harper throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sully works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Sully is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Harper distracts Sully with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Harper is looking to work some ground and pound but Sully has wrist control.
Harper controls from within his opponent's guard.
Harper wants to pass the guard but Sully is keeping the position.
Harper working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Sully's head.
Sully is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Harper just misses with a punch to the body.
Harper shoots in for a double leg but Sully sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Harper feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Harper has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Sully is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Sully looking for a sweep. Not yet Sully, not yet.
Sully looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Harper puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Harper looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sully with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Harper is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sully can do to turn this around?

BOOM! Harper connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Sully wants to control but Harper is having none of it.
Harper is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Sully can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Harper lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Harper fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Sully is looking to get to half guard.

Harper postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Sully in real trouble here! The ref calls for Sully to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

After winning the bout, Miguel Harper thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Capt Sully was interviewed post fight and said 'Retiring this sorry ass.'.
