Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Juu Dyon (ranked 677 p4p, 85 weight class) and Thomas Maeda (ranked 586 p4p, 74 weight class). Maeda comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Submission kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dyon slips under a jab from Maeda.
Maeda missing with a left hand there. Dyon was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Dyon changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Maeda throws a shot to the body.
Dyon really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...
Dyon shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Maeda's guard.
Maeda is trying to keep Dyon in close.
Maeda working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dyon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dyon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
