Westcutt has chosen Nick Nolan - Life of Sin as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Michael Swango!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Blake Westcutt!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Steve Erwin and Ron Honeybunn.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swango connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Swango throws a right hand that Westcutt ducks under and follows up with a left that Westcutt also avoids with ease.
Swango scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Westcutt moves forwards but Swango connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Swango misses with a double jab.
Westcutt wants to counter with a clinch but Swango pushes him away.
Swango lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Westcutt backs up against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Swango swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Swango drops Westcutt with a beautiful combination! Westcutt stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Swango is looking for the KO!


Westcutt is rocked!


It looks like Blake Westcutt has been cut.
Westcutt tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Swango cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Swango swinging wildly here.
Swango lands a glancing blow to the side of Westcutt's head.
Swango jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Swango misses with a few strikes there.
Swango throws a series of strikes that have Westcutt backpedaling.
Swango throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Swango throws a right and a left that both miss.
Westcutt takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Swango scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A combination from Swango does no damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Westcutt clinches.
Westcutt jumps guard but Swango stands there with Westcutt around his waist. Westcutt gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Swango breaks from the clinch.
Swango scores with the left hand. Westcutt knows he should have avoided that one.
Michael Swango seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Westcutt drops his hands momentarily and Swango takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Swango scores with a jab to the head.
Swango works the jab nicely.
Swango fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Westcutt looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Swango looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

That has opened up Blake Westcutt's cut even more.
Swango lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Westcutt is still on wobbly legs! Can Swango finish him?
Swango lands a jab to the nose.
Westcutt takes one on the button.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A jab from Swango does it's job there.
Swango throws a nice looking combination but Westcutt bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Westcutt seems to have recovered his senses.
Swango scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Westcutt doesn't seem bothered though.
Swango sizes up Westcutt with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Westcutt closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Swango escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Westcutt closes the distance but Swango moves to the side
and Swango counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Westcutt takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Westcutt fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Swango, pushing him back against the cage.
Westcutt tries to pull guard but Swango won't allow it.

Swango breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Swango looks to land a combination but Westcutt avoids it well.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Swango lands with a nice combination. Westcutt backs away looking to recover.
Swango cracks Westcutt with an open hand slap.
Swango is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Westcutt darts in and clinches Swango up against the cage.
Westcutt jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Swango walks away with a smile on his face. Westcutt gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Michael Swango has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Blake Westcutt.
Swango misses with a few strikes there.
Swango cracks Westcutt with a good jab.
Swango thuds a left hand into Westcutt's body.
Westcutt drops his hands momentarily and Swango takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Swango digs a good hook to Westcutt's body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Westcutt on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Swango misses with a series of wild punches.
Westcutt is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Michael Swango dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Blake Westcutt's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Westcutt tries to clinch but Swango moves away
and Swango counters with a nice uppercut.
Swango is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Westcutt has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Westcutt there as he acknowledges the shot.
Swango just misses with a punch to the body.

and Swango counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Swango lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Westcutt backs up against the cage.
Westcutt tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Swango counters with a crisp one two that drops Westcutt! Swango thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Westcutt to his feet! Westcutt is in big trouble!


The cut above Blake Westcutt's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Swango throws an uppercut from hell that sends Westcutt clean off his feet! He's out cold! Swango stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Michael Swango!
