Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Test Fighter D (ranked 2446 p4p, 214 weight class) and Lester Limbaugh (ranked 1932 p4p, 185 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Limbaugh cracks Fighter D with a right hand to the side of the head.
A left lands for Limbaugh.
Fighter D takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
The fighters circling - Fighter D throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Limbaugh swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Limbaugh ducks right into an uppercut from Fighter D.
Fighter D throws a low kick but it's checked well by Limbaugh.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Limbaugh has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Limbaugh with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Fighter D to score with a decent uppercut.
Test Fighter D seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fighter D is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Limbaugh tries to bum rush Fighter D with a series of wild strikes but Fighter D uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Fighter D looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Limbaugh is fending him off so far but Fighter D persists. Nope, Limbaugh circles away and we're back to standing.

Fighter D pivots, looking for a leg kick but Limbaugh is out of range and Fighter D settles back down.

Limbaugh drives through with a takedown into Fighter D's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
