Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hugh Glass!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Glass and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vesham misses with a double jab.
Glass smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Glass forces Vesham back against the cage and clinches.

Glass breaks the clinch.
Vesham misses with the combination.
Glass tries to counter by closing the distance.

Glass closes the distance and clinches.

Glass breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Vesham fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Glass manages to avoid it.
Vesham avoids the body shot from Glass.
Glass cracks the inside of Vesham's front leg.
Vesham wants to clinch.
Glass has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Vesham is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Glass slips a jab and a cross from Vesham.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Glass lands with a slapping head kick.
Vesham throws a right and a left that both miss.
Glass lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Glass lands a nice looking body shot.

Vesham shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Vesham was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Vesham is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Glass has escaped the position, nice work there.
Vesham scores with a couple of short elbows.
Glass prevents Vesham from improving position.
Vesham sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Glass is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hugh Glass dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Glass tries a head kick but it misses.
Glass misses with a jab to the body
and Vesham counters with a one-two to the body.
Glass lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Glass throws a nice inside leg kick.
Glass scores with a kick to the body.
Vesham walks forward, straight into a front kick from Glass.
Glass lands a high kick!
Vesham tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Glass tries to clinch but Vesham is having none of it.
Glass throws a head kick that misses.
Vesham has his takedown stuffed
and Glass counters with a good low kick that Vesham was not able to check.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Vesham misses with a wild combination.
Glass will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Vesham tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Glass counters with an outside leg kick.
Glass swats away the attempt to clinch by Vesham.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Vesham.

Glass takes the fight into the clinch.
Hugh Glass seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Glass has Vesham pressed against the cage, preventing Vesham from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Glass's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Glass is looking to clinch but Vesham is avoiding it.
Glass leaves Vesham with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Po Vesham. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Glass escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Vesham rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Glass moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Glass scores with a jab.
Glass connects with a nice looking jab.


Vesham is rocked!
Vesham tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Oh Vesham is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Glass counters with a big right hand! Oh Vesham is in trouble here! Glass follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

An out of breath Hugh Glass thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
