Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bin Laden (ranked 2724 p4p, 283 weight class) and Billy Hopkins (ranked 2677 p4p, 278 weight class). Laden kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is I am Bin Laden - 5jonttu55 . The key to victory for Bin Laden has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopkins closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hopkins lands in his opponent's guard.
Hopkins controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Laden avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Laden can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hopkins controls the pace.
Hopkins advances position into side control!
Hopkins has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hopkins creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Hopkins sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Laden is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hopkins moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Laden takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Hopkins remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Hopkins cracks Laden with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Hopkins immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Laden is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Hopkins!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Billy Hopkins!
After winning the bout, Billy Hopkins thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
