TWGC 25 (265lbs, D3): London Qualifier - Round 1 PBP Commentary


Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Lee Van Cleefe (ranked 5570 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bogdan Uzun (ranked 4127 p4p, 0 weight class). Uzun has chosen "Trogdor the Burninator" by Strong Bad as his entrance music. Van Cleefe has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Uzun throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Van Cleefe tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Uzun is in Van Cleefe's guard.

Bogdan Uzun decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
