Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Miguel Cotto!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooper tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cotto swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Cotto gets a clinch.
Cotto lands a body punch.

Cotto breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cooper drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

It looks like Charles Cooper has been cut.
Cooper tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Cotto paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Cotto swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Cotto throws a switch kick that catches Cooper on the top of the head and drops him to the canvas! Cooper looks hurt - I'm not sure he's going to get back up! The referee starts the count but calls it off at seven as Cooper flops around on the canvas, clearly in no position to continue! This fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Miguel Cotto!
Miguel Cotto spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
