These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hooper fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Macroni avoids it really well and circles away.
Macroni tries to counter by clinching up but Hooper breaks away and moves out of range.
Horrible takedown attempt by Hooper or perhaps it was just good defense by Macroni, which made it look bad.
