PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Jordan (ranked 5359 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bolo Yueng (ranked 4298 p4p, 0 weight class). Jordan comes into the arena with Ape Sh^t y the Carters blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yueng is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jordan's half guard.

Jordan manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Yueng keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Yueng tries to throw a body punch but Jordan avoids it by throwing Yueng back against the cage.

and Jordan counters with a two punch combo.

Yueng manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jordan on his heels. He'll look to pass Jordan's guard now, I'm sure.

Jordan has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Yueng has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Yueng tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jordan just stands there and leans against the cage.

Jordan gets control of Yueng 's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jordan will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Yueng tries to close the distance and clinch but Jordan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Yueng shoots in looking for a takedown but Jordan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Yueng 's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Jordan changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Yueng fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Jordan dives in for a single leg takedown but Yueng sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

That was a close round but I would say that Jason Jordan will probably get the nod.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Yueng takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Yueng looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jordan with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Yueng stands up and beckons Jordan to join him on the feet.

Bolo Yueng showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Yueng is pushing down on Jordan's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jordan is fighting to maintain full guard but Yueng has managed to sneak the leg through.

Yueng has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Jordan defend it? Yueng steps over the head and cranks it - Jordan is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Yueng !
