Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Oson Bon (ranked 711 p4p, 29 weight class) and Jacques Durand (ranked 18477 p4p, 60 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Durand's choice of entrance music: Kaaris - S.E.V.R.A.N.. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durand swings for the body but Bon moves out of range.
Bon was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Bon throws a lazy uppercut
and Durand counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Durand defending well as Bon loads up on a big left hand.
Durand slips under a jab from Bon.
Durand cracks the inside of Bon's front leg.
Bon keeps the fight on the outside.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Durand.

Bon really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Bon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

A close round but Jacques Durand will probably get the nod.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Durand, as that shot connected.

Durand throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bon.
Bon slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Jacques Durand showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Bon throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Durand sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bon is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Durand landing knees to the body.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Durand throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Bon blocks it with crossed arms.
Durand creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Jacques Durand is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Bon pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes.
Bon lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Durand misses with a knee strike.

I would just about give that final round to Jacques Durand.
Well Durand has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
