The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Delaney clinches up with DaBaea and pushes him back against the cage.

Delaney escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Delaney darts in and clinches DaBaea up against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
DaBaea is trying to break the clinch but Delaney has him pressed against the cage.

DaBaea is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Delaney pulls him back up using the underhooks.

DaBaea drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Delaney gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Delaney really doesn't want to stay on the ground with DaBaea. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
DaBaea is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

DaBaea has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Delaney can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

DaBaea is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
The fighters circle momentarily. Delaney darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Delaney takes the fight into the clinch.
Delaney goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Delaney is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Delaney lands with an uppercut that bounces DaBaea off the cage and back into range.
DaBaea walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Delaney lands a left and a right that send DaBaea crashing to the mat, dazed. Delaney thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Uresteler DaBaea has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Delaney has managed to clinch.
Oh DaBaea is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Delaney lands a body shot.
Delaney creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends DaBaea's eyes rolling into the back of his head! DaBaea drops to his knees and Delaney pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
