Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Brakeley (ranked 424 p4p, 58 weight class) and Machiavelli Vecellio (ranked 1594 p4p, 194 weight class). Brakeley comes into the arena with Woke up this Morning blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Machiavelli Vecellio!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brakeley clobbers Vecellio with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Machiavelli Vecellio has been cut.
Brakeley lands a jab to the head.
Vecellio uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Brakeley.
Vecellio walks straight into a right hand from Brakeley - that's dropped him! Brakeley jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Vecellio from any more punishment! Vecellio complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
