The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jiminez drives through and clinches with Beasley against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jiminez manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Beasley manages to get himself to full guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Beasley has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Jiminez pushes Beasley off and scrambles back to his feet.

Jeffry Beasley has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Frankie Jiminez is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Beasley turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Jiminez throws Beasley to one side and escapes!

Well Jiminez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
