The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blake gets the takedown into side control.

Blake tries for a kimura but Jenkins is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blake is staying tight to Jenkins's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Jenkins is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Blake asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Jenkins breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jenkins throws a push kick but Blake slaps the foot to one side.
Blake really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Blake tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Jenkins pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Jenkins throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Blake's waist but Blake gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jenkins off to one side.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Blake lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jenkins has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jenkins and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
As Blake backs off Jenkins throws a huge counter combo but Blake manages to avoid it all.
Blake is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
