Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Motu Te Tai (ranked 4335 p4p, 416 weight class) and Toby Unit (ranked 4991 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Motu Te Tai has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of New York, Motu Te Tai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Toby Unit!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Te Tai gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Unit creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Te Tai avoiding damage as Unit throws knees to the body.

Te Tai pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Unit throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Te Tai tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Unit is in Te Tai's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Unit stands and throws Te Tai's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Te Tai is trying to buck Unit off.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Te Tai on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Te Tai is trying to get back to his feet.
Unit is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Te Tai tries to escape but Unit is in control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Te Tai seems a little lost for a moment, as Unit dominates the positioning.
Te Tai is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Te Tai is wriggling around trying to escape but Unit has hooked up a rear naked choke! Is it over??? Is it... you're damn right it is! Te Tai taps out and Unit picks up the big win! Great work there by Unit!
