Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Thomas Raske!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 12 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Stone!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Glass and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raske moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Raske closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

A looping hook to the body misses from Raske. Stone does a little dance to reset his feet.
Raske throws out a powerful jab.

Raske ducks under a wild hook from Stone.
Stone feints and then cracks Raske's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Raske down.

Stone swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Raske throws a low kick but Stone avoids it.

Stone rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Raske counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Raske uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Stone has time to react.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stone takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Raske cracks Stone with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Stone chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Raske can pounce on him.
Raske throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Stone takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Raske is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Stone takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Stone tried to score with a low kick but Raske checks it.

Raske uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Stone misses with an uppercut.
Stone uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Raske.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Stone tries to land a front kick but Raske steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Stone stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Raske.
Raske fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Stone looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Stone's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Raske motions for Stone to come forward. Raske throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
A solid leg kick lands there for Raske.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Stone.
Raske dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Stone. That did some damage!
The fighters circling - Stone throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

and Stone counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.


Raske is rocked!


It looks like Thomas Raske has been cut.
Raske throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Stone on the side of the head.
Stone moves out of range as Raske strikes.
Raske misses with a low kick.
Raske misses the jab.
Stone is looking for the big counter here.

Stone throws a leg kick but Raske checks it.
Raske lands with a thumping leg kick.
Raske throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Raske looks to throw the jab but Stone is out of range.
It seemed like Stone was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Stone feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Raske sprawling to the canvas! Raske rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Stone finish him?!
Oh Raske is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Stone counters with a big right hand! Oh Raske is in trouble here! Stone follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Stone!
