Day closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Vanna is looking to regain half guard here but Day keeps moving and retains side control.
Day is working Vanna over with some ground and pound from side control.
Vanna is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The ground and pound from Day seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Day works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
