Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Total Bastard (ranked 1030 p4p, 67 weight class) and Edmund Shklyarskiy (ranked 2885 p4p, 173 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Bastard lands an impressive looking overhand right. Shklyarskiy doesn't seem phased though.
Shklyarskiy throws a series of punches but Bastard moves out of range.
Bastard punishes Shklyarskiy's body with a nice straight punch.
Shklyarskiy takes a jab right on the kisser.
Bastard throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Shklyarskiy let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Bastard fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Shklyarskiy throws an overhand right that lands on Bastard's shoulder, as Bastard tries to avoid the shot.
A big right from Shklyarskiy misses.
Bastard scores with a body shot.
Shklyarskiy misses with a double jab
and Bastard counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Shklyarskiy just misses with a punch to the body.
Shklyarskiy throws a body shot but no joy.
Bastard misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Shklyarskiy cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Shklyarskiy rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Bastard counters by moving into the clinch.

Shklyarskiy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Shklyarskiy throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Shklyarskiy throws a big shot that misses.

A cross from Bastard lands.
Bastard connects with a good right hand that stumbles Shklyarskiy. Shklyarskiy circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
A jab from Shklyarskiy finds it's way through Bastard's defenses.
Shklyarskiy misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bastard misses with a looping left.
Shklyarskiy throws a shot from downtown. Bastard moves away and avoids it.

and Shklyarskiy takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Nice defenses there by Bastard.
As Shklyarskiy tries to get set, Bastard tries to push him back and clinch up but Shklyarskiy manages to avoid the attempt.
Shklyarskiy is still on wobbly legs! Can Bastard finish him?
BOOM! Bastard lands a beautiful left hook that drops Shklyarskiy. Shklyarskiy tries to recover but Bastard is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Shklyarskiy lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Total Bastard!
A relieved looking Total Bastard thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
