Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Keith Dudemeister (ranked 4954 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bielik Blaszczak (ranked 3084 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Keith Dudemeister!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bielik Blaszczak!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksandr Martynov and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaszczak moves out of range of the strikes.

Blaszczak closes the distance and clinches.
Blaszczak lands a hook to the side of the head.
Blaszczak is pressed up against the cage. Dudemeister has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Blaszczak down to the mat. Blaszczak avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Blaszczak tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dudemeister paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Dudemeister half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Dudemeister takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Blaszczak moves in looking to clinch but Dudemeister pushes him off.
Dudemeister tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Blaszczak was well out of range. Poor timing from Dudemeister.

Dudemeister shoots for a double leg takedown but Blaszczak sprawls well. He's pushed Dudemeister's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Blaszczak tries to counter by closing the distance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dudemeister looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Blaszczak with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Dudemeister has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Blaszczak can do anything to dispel that myth.
Dudemeister wants to take a breather but Blaszczak is having none of it.
Dudemeister takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Dudemeister slips a nice elbow through Blaszczak's hands, connecting with Blaszczak's forehead.
Blaszczak wants to control but Dudemeister is keeping busy.

Dudemeister seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Blaszczak for as long as he can get away with.
Dudemeister's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Dudemeister takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Dudemeister can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Blaszczak is looking to escape.
Blaszczak tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Dudemeister is looking to take a break and control but Blaszczak is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Blaszczak is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Dudemeister jumps into side control!

Blaszczak is not content to let Dudemeister control the position.

Dudemeister is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Blaszczak can do to turn this around?

Dudemeister scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Blaszczak is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Dudemeister can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
