Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Enrico Carandang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ludovic Presle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ludovic Presle has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Enrico Carandang's chin.

The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carandang fails to land the takedown.
Carandang throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Presle's waist but Presle gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Carandang off to one side.
No luck for Carandang with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Enrico Carandang. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Carandang shoots in for a takedown but Presle shows good takedown defense.
Carandang moves in looking to clinch but Presle pushes him off.
Carandang shoots in for a double leg but Presle sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Carandang tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Presle closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Presle's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Carandang fails with the takedown.
Carandang is breathing heavily.
Presle changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Presle lands a big shot that drops Carandang! Can he finish him?

It looks like Enrico Carandang has been cut.
Carandang keeping moving, preventing Presle from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Presle would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Presle stands up over Carandang, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Carandang escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Presle gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Presle is looking to stand up but Carandang won't let him.

Carandang is looking for a triangle but Presle pushes his legs off easily.

Presle avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Carandang looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Presle would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Presle stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Carandang swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Carandang looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Presle passes into half guard.

Carandang looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Carandang goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Carandang takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Presle drives through and clinches with Carandang against the cage.

Presle breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Presle scores with a crisp jab that stopped Carandang in his tracks.
Presle drops Carandang with a huge uppercut! Carandang drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Presle is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
