The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight scores with a push kick.
Knight tries to clinch but Sloan is having none of it.

Sloan scores with a takedown into Knight's guard.
Knight tries to strike from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sloan lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Sloan lands a couple of elbows.

Sloan decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Knight, up you get!
Sloan circles away from the clinch attempt
and Sloan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Knight looks winded!
Knight tries to land a body kick
and Sloan counters with a left to the body.
Knight misses with a body punch
and Sloan counters with a lovely straight right hand!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Knight misses with a low kick.
Sloan blocks a jab.
Knight wants to clinch up but Sloan keeps it at a distance.
Knight throws an off balance right hand
and Knight takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Knight drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Knight pivots, looking for a leg kick but Sloan is out of range and Knight settles back down.
Knight throws a half hearted mid kick.
Sloan darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Sloan gets the takedown into side control.

Sloan is working to tighten his grip on Knight's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Knight has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Sloan is really squeezing tight and eventually Knight passes out! Sloan breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
