The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Winston Alpacca and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Page lands a high kick!
Page will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Page doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Page fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Page connects with a high kick.
Page lands a head kick. Tambling smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Page scores with a three punch combo!
Page takes one to the chin there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Page wants to clinch but Tambling slips to the side
and Tambling makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Tambling lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Michael Page has been cut.
Page throws a sloppy head kick
and Tambling counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Page looks winded!
Page misses with a head kick.
Tambling throws a shot to the body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Tambling, as that shot connected.
Page misses with a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tambling connects with a right hand. Page shakes it off.
Tambling lands the left hand.
Nice shot by Tambling.
Page walks into a jab.
Page tries a head kick but it misses.
Tambling is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Tambling drops Page with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Page looks back up at him and smiles so Tambling waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Page is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Page loses concentration momentarily and Tambling pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Page crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Tambling finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ben Tambling!
