The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thistlewhite throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck FoodChain on the side of the head.
Thistlewhite tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but FoodChain was well out of range. Poor timing from Thistlewhite.
Ignatius Thistlewhite seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Thistlewhite.
Thistlewhite misses with a leg kick.
FoodChain takes a jab right on the kisser.
Thistlewhite tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but FoodChain defends well and Thistlewhite ends up having to push FoodChain into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
FoodChain is looking to counter punch.

and FoodChain counters with a stiff right hand.
TopOf FoodChain has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ignatius Thistlewhite.
FoodChain throws a lazy right hand but Thistlewhite sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Thistlewhite fails to land with a series of punches.
Thistlewhite takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Thistlewhite throws a leg kick
enabling FoodChain to counter with a crisp jab.
FoodChain connects with a looping right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Thistlewhite throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
FoodChain looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
FoodChain stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and FoodChain wants it to stay on the feet.
FoodChain fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Some wild striking there from Thistlewhite.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Thistlewhite moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Thistlewhite fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
FoodChain lands a really nice looking cross but Thistlewhite seems unphased.

Thistlewhite is rocked!
Thistlewhite throws out a loose jab but FoodChain uses good head movement to avoid it.
FoodChain pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Thistlewhite back to the cage. FoodChain follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Thistlewhite is still on wobbly legs! Can FoodChain finish him?

It looks like Ignatius Thistlewhite has been cut.
FoodChain cracks Thistlewhite with a left hook right on the temple and Thistlewhite goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! FoodChain lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Thistlewhite is OK!
