The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barry throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kjellberg 's waist but Kjellberg gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Barry off to one side.

Barry gets a clinch.

Barry wants the takedown. Kjellberg is fighting it off but Barry persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Kjellberg 's guard against the cage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kjellberg has Barry pulled in close to control his posture.
Barry really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Barry is standing up over Kjellberg . Kjellberg looks to escape but Barry dives into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kjellberg pushes Barry away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Barry gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Kjellberg can't do much from the bottom here.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Barry drops back looking for a leg! Kjellberg is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kjellberg manages to kick Barry off! Barry jumps back into Kjellberg 's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Kjellberg wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Barry shoots in for a takedown but Kjellberg shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Barry has Kjellberg pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kjellberg manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Barry feints and as Kjellberg raises his hands in defense, Barry changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Kjellberg is pressed up against the cage. Barry has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kjellberg down to the mat. Kjellberg avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Kjellberg thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Barry drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kjellberg manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Barry has Kjellberg in his guard.

Kjellberg is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
