Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Alyssa Summers and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Zholdoshev both land. Nice combination.
Lyons avoids the head kick by Zholdoshev.
Lyons blocks a head kick by Zholdoshev.
Lyons darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Zholdoshev has hold of Lyons's hands but Lyons slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Lyons lands with a punch from half guard.
Lyons winds up and cracks Zholdoshev with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lyons seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Zholdoshev knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lyons on the ground.
Lyons takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Zholdoshev is rocked!
Lyons lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Zholdoshev quite badly. Zholdoshev pulls Lyons in close trying to recover. Lyons postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Zholdoshev on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Zholdoshev doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lee Lyons!
After the fight, Lee Lyons was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
