Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Altintop Palonesess (ranked 2900 p4p, 301 weight class) and Oscar De La Werido (ranked 2859 p4p, 297 weight class). De La Werido comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Oscar De La Hoya - Run to me kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Oscar De La Werido !
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De La Werido lands a nice hook to Palonesess's body. Palonesess takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Palonesess shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Palonesess showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Palonesess takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
De La Werido wants to control but Palonesess is keeping busy.

De La Werido has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Palonesess is working away from the top position though.

De La Werido is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Palonesess has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed De La Werido clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

De La Werido manages to stand up with Palonesess still on his back. Eventually Palonesess drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position.
De La Werido has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Palonesess is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Palonesess has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. De La Werido is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Palonesess's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

A very excited looking Altintop Palonesess rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
