The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Real cracks McMonster with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

It looks like Mike McMonster has been cut.
Real avoids the body shot from McMonster.
An attempted straight right counter from Real misses the target.
Real slips a straight right by McMonster.
Real throwing a counter right hand but McMonster manages to avoid it.

McMonster shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. McMonster showed some decent athleticism there.
McMonster working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

It looks like Un Real has been cut.
McMonster content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
McMonster drops an elbow to the side of Real's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
