Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kron Gracie (ranked 5382 p4p, 369 weight class) and Gorgon Patriot (ranked 6629 p4p, 412 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Patriot's half guard.
Gracie passes to side control.
Gracie moves into full mount!

Gracie looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Patriot really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Patriot is looking to improve his position but Gracie isn't that keen on the idea.

Gracie working for a submission but Patriot is keeping him at bay.
Gracie looking to control but Patriot is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Patriot keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Patriot stops Gracie from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

Gracie is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Patriot to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Patriot shrugs it off.

Gracie is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Patriot is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Patriot flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Gracie anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Patriot and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Gracie slips an arm under Patriot chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Gracie has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Gracie is squeezing on Patriot like an anaconda would it's prey. Patriot fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Kron Gracie!
As Kron Gracie got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: I'll give a choke to anyone on the roster who wants it!!!'.
