Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Don Cartagena (ranked 19008 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marchiano Giovinazzi (ranked 2794 p4p, 0 weight class). Cartagena's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Crack Attack. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Marchiano Giovinazzi enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giovinazzi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cartagena tries to avoid it but Giovinazzi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cartagena to the ground. Cartagena escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
As Giovinazzi looks to move away, Cartagena throws a big counter combo but Giovinazzi just gets out of the way.
Giovinazzi tries for a takedown but Cartagena sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Giovinazzi takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

and Cartagena counters with a three punch combo that has Giovinazzi backing up. Giovinazzi nods at Cartagena to acknowledge the strikes.
Don Cartagena has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marchiano Giovinazzi.

BOOM! Cartagena lands a beautiful left hook that drops Giovinazzi. Giovinazzi tries to recover but Cartagena is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Giovinazzi lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

After the fight, Don Cartagena was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
