The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vludvist avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Seidel walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Vludvist throws a right hand that Seidel ducks under and follows up with a left that Seidel also avoids with ease.
It looked like Seidel was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Vludvist.

Despite the aggression on Vludvist's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Vludvist throws a right and a left that both miss.
Seidel appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Vludvist throws a series of punches but Seidel avoids them all with ease.
Seidel fails with an attempt to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Seidel throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vludvist's waist but Vludvist gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Seidel off to one side.
Vludvist is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Vludvist is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Seidel tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Vludvist manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Vasya Vance Vludvist is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

As Seidel backs off Vludvist throws a huge counter combo but Seidel manages to avoid it all.

Vludvist stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Vasya Vance Vludvist decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
