The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balle lands with a right hand.
Balle cracks a nice hook into MCarthy's ribs.

Balle lands a straight punch to the body, keeping MCarthy at a distance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Balle lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

MCarthy throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Balle counters with a right hand to the body.
Balle ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
MCarthy takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Michae Balle is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

MCarthy is breathing heavily.
MCarthy walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
MCarthy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Balle moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Balle stuns MCarthy with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Balle connects with a body shot that sends MCarthy's belly button to the back.

Balle should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
MCarthy gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Balle is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! MCarthy had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Balle throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent MCarthy stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

The fighters circle momentarily. Balle darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Balle drops MCarthy with a straight left! Oh this is bad for MCarthy! Balle dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
