Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones closes the distance and pushes Robles back into the cage.
Robles escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Robles gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Robles really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Jones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jones pushes Robles up against the cage in a clinch.
Robles wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Jones gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Robles manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Jones keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Jones shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Robles's guard.
Robles is wriggling around but Jones manages to pass to half guard.
Robles has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jones is working away from the top position though.
Robles is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.

Jones can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Robles is looking to escape.

A close round but Joey Jones will probably get the nod.

Jones feints and as Robles raises his hands in defense, Jones changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Jones has hold of Robles's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Robles seems comfortable defending it but Jones has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Robles is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Robles is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Jones couldn't care less - he's delighted!
