Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sasha Romaschenko (ranked 5739 p4p, 468 weight class) and Sandee Gorgrip (ranked 23058 p4p, 534 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Romaschenko closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Gorgrip's guard.
Gorgrip working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Romaschenko.
Romaschenko distracts Gorgrip with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Romaschenko with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Gorgrip has his foot on Romaschenko's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Romaschenko works his way back into a safe position though.
Romaschenko postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Gorgrip is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Romaschenko rolls with it to try and escape but Gorgrip cranks on the arm and Romaschenko is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
